What is the best/most reasonably priced on line travel site for a trip to Europe?

pegomyheart asked:

I must get to Milan, Italy first, then to Malaga, Spain. Would like to do one way from Kansas City or St. Louis. One way seems very expensive. Planning a 10 day trip, about for 2 people. After Spain, I still have about 4 days to travel elsewhere & fly out of wherever.

Just got back from Europe. Flew in to Barcelona, then took a train to Poland and then flew to Greece. I did a lot of research and found that the cheap European budget airlines are the way to go. Ryanair.com is the most popular, but there are many others. Train travel is great too. You can get a train pass and use that to get from Milan to Malaga. is a great site to start. The cool thing is you can use Trevelocity Train service to acutally find train schedules between cities of interest. Good luck and have fun!

I always like to go straight to airline sights. Alitalia flys to Milan, LOT the Polish Airline, and Iberia flys to Milan cheat, but you’ll have to fly through Chicago.

So go to Orbitz for the national flights and international airline companies for the international. You could buy it all at Travelosity or Orbitz, but buying direct is usually cheaper.

Like Rick Steve’s says, think open jaw (fly in from one city and leaving another)…
ricksteves.com. that’s favorite travel information site.
