    Yes you do as Morocco isn’t part of the ECOWAS countries.
    You may want to speak to the airlines… as most of them have a waiver for such trips.

    I know you don’t need a transit visa if leaving from Nigeria to the US on KLM & Airfrance

    You do not need a transit visa and may transit without visa (TWOV) if you
    • continue your journey to a third country on the same day
    • continue your journey by the same or first connecting aircraft
    • hold confirmed onward tickets
    • stay in the airport
